Introduction to our project
The idea of magnetic pulses are not considered new in today's technological advances. For this project, our goal is to provide an approach design with a proof of concept prototype that can achieve at least 100 microsecond and the circuit must be able to create a magnetic field with strength of greater than or equal to 500 Gauss pulses. In other words, This circuit will have a small coil that generates a pulsing magnetic field at very high amplitudes, very quickly.
The whole project will last two-semesters long and we made different short-term missions for achieving our final goal:
Fall September-December, 2016.
Including our design poster, design document, weekly report and presentation slides.

Fall September-December, 2016.
- Following previous works, keep the old design and understand its working principles.
- Discuss on its advantages and disadvantages.
- Do simulation with our chosen software.
- Do the layout and make our PCB.
- Do testing on the PCB and observe its result.
- Finishing design, simulation, testing and other works on single-MOSFET circuit.
- Start working with Low-power design.
- Start working with Current-Sense Resistor design.
- Start working on new MOSFETs testing.
- Prepare the final version of single-MOSFET PCB.
